The National Office manages and co-ordinates the courses of study
provided by Polytechnic Institutes which lead to the awarding of
the Institute's formal national qualifications.
The structure of the Institute's national qualifications programme
is carefully designed to provide a logical path of personal skills
development, integrated with the attainment of other external qualifications
- the National Certificate in Business Studies (NCB), and various
university or polytechnic degrees such as BBS, BCA and MBA.
The structure recognises the valuable role of professional management
at various levels within organisations, and reflects the objectives
of the New Zealand Institute of Management in improving the performance
of New Zealand organisations through better management and supervisory
practices. more...
